On the morning of May 28, at the Provincial Market Management Department, the Provincial Council for Handling the Destruction of Evidence and Means of Administrative Violations held a meeting and proceeded to destroy goods that were evidence of administrative violations confiscated since the beginning of the year.

In this period, the goods destroyed include: Alcohol, cosmetics, food, children's toys, clothes, sports shoes, electrical appliances, electronic cigarettes, cigarettes, electric bicycles, car accessories of all kinds... worth over 1 billion VND. These are goods that violate the law due to unknown origin; do not ensure food safety according to regulations; smuggled goods, counterfeit goods, goods not qualified for circulation on the market... confiscated by the provincial market management force.

The goods are destroyed by cutting, smashing, and crushing them to lose their usable value, then completely destroyed at the Ninh Binh Solid Waste Treatment Plant (Dong Son Commune, Tam Diep City).

The destruction is an activity in response to the "Month of action for food safety and hygiene" in 2024, thereby aiming to propagate and prevent organizations and individuals from violating food safety in particular; contributing to production establishments, service businesses and people understanding and actively participating in preventing and combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, ensuring the rights of producers and consumers.
