Vietnam Wildlife Photography Club (VWPC) in collaboration with Wildtour Company and BirdLife International launched the Vietnam Wildlife Photography Contest and Exhibition 2025 with the theme The Rhythm of Nature .

Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association (HOPA) is the professional sponsor of this contest.

The contest is for photographers and photography enthusiasts to capture the enchanting "dances" of birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and terrestrial invertebrates.

This is an annual event to honor the beauty of wildlife and spread awareness of biodiversity conservation to the community.

According to the regulations, each author can submit a maximum of 8 photos, taken in Vietnam. The judging criteria are based on technical quality, the story conveyed and the true beauty of nature. The organizers said that they do not accept artificial photos or photos edited with AI that distort the content.

Photographer Thuan Vo - representative of the contest's organizing committee - said that this year's contest marks an expansion of the theme with the macro photography category of reptiles, amphibians and terrestrial microscopic species. These creatures are small but play an important role in Vietnam's ecosystem.

“This year's contest promises to bring a richer perspective on biodiversity in Vietnam, while also arousing a deeper conservation awareness from the community,” photographer Thuan Vo emphasized.

The Vietnam Wildlife Photography Contest not only creates a creative and professional playground for photographers but also aims to raise awareness about the importance of nature conservation.

Through this contest, the organizers also hope to build a valuable image archive to serve conservation education and communication work.
