National Cup finds new sponsor before opening: Champion gets 2 billion VND

On September 9, 2025, LPBank Securities Joint Stock Company (LPBS), FPT Corporation and Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) officially signed a sponsorship agreement for the National Cup - LPBank Securities 2025 - 2026, witnessed by the Vietnam Sports Administration.

The event marked LPBS becoming the main sponsor of the 2025-2026 National Cup, opening up opportunities for extensive cooperation between LPBS, VPF andFPT in developing Vietnamese football. Mr. Nguyen Duy Khoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of LPBS, affirmed: "We are proud to accompany the 2025-2026 National Cup. This is a strategic step of LPBS to contribute to the development of Vietnamese sports".

With the participation of LPBS, the tournament promises to explode, creating a strong momentum for domestic football development. The event also marks the first time the National Cup has a new logo, with the main yellow-orange color, expressing the desire to conquer and passion for football.

The LPBank Securities National Cup 2025-2026 is expected to start from September 12, 2025 to June 28, 2026, with the participation of 25 clubs from professional tournaments across the country. In particular, the cup-winning team will receive a prize worth 2 billion VND.

With the withdrawal of Hoa Binh Club, there will be only 12 first-class teams participating in the 2025-2026 season, including: Bac Ninh, Van Hien University, Dong Thap, Gia Dinh, Khatoco Khanh Hoa, Long An , Ho Chi Minh City Club, Ho Chi Minh City Youth (expected to be renamed Thanh Nien Ho Chi Minh City), PVF-CAND Youth, Dong Nai Tuoi School, Quang Ninh and Quy Nhon United.
