This morning, people living near the Tran Van Thanh monument park in Cai Dau town were surprised to see a young man about 30 years old, shirtless, stuck in a decorative iron lamp post with LED lights on the outside. The cage can only fit one person standing.
The young man was trapped inside the cage for several hours, unable to communicate with anyone around him. Some people tried to guide the victim to climb out but were unsuccessful, so they called the rescue team.
A fire police team from An Giang Province Police came to cut the iron bars and brought the victim out. The rescue process took nearly 20 minutes. The young man was not injured, but his health was quite weak after being trapped for a long time, and he was taken to the town police headquarters.
