On the evening of July 4, the high-altitude fireworks display of Ha Long Sun Company Limited took place at Ha Long International Passenger Port, attracting thousands of locals and tourists. The fireworks show lasted 15 minutes with 2,100 low-altitude fireworks and 1,000 high-altitude fireworks. Not only did visitors get to admire the spectacular fireworks displays, they also got to enjoy the themed music space, creating a unique multi-sensory experience. According to Mr. Pham Van Hiep, Executive Director of Sun Group in the Northeast, this is the first time in Quang Ninh that there has been a fixed fireworks display on weekends. Therefore, the unit continues to organize fireworks displays regularly and safely. At the same time, promote communication and promotion activities so that visitors know about it and stay longer, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the coastal city at night.
Not only the fireworks show, a series of entertainment and recreation spots have also been renewed, giving visitors a variety of choices. At the Sun World Ha Long Entertainment Complex, in addition to the thrilling games, the unit has brought the Sun Wheel back into operation after a long period of maintenance. At the same time, the spaces such as An Nhien lotus lake, flower garden, and cartoon statues have been renewed to create landscapes for visitors to visit and take photos. In particular, a series of new shows every day such as "Samba show" and "Samurai rescue" have brought a bustling, attractive atmosphere like international street festivals, helping visitors have memorable experiences.
During the peak tourist season, the number of visitors increases, especially on weekends. Hotels and resorts always reach an average capacity of 60-80%. The units also make the most of their infrastructure to include health care packages, afternoon tea, and cuisine to attract tourists. Mr. Nguyen Thai Hung, General Director of Saigon - Ha Long Hotel, said: The room occupancy rate of the unit in the summer is always 40-60%, and up to 90% on weekends. To meet the needs of tourists, in addition to ensuring the quality of services and facilities, the unit cooperates with sightseeing boat units in Ha Long Bay, offering a 10% discount when customers book a boat to create attractive products, introduce the strengths of Quang Ninh tourism, as well as enhance the experience for tourists.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the tourism industry will welcome about 12.1 million visitors, reaching 116% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 112% of the target compared to the growth scenario. Domestic visitors are estimated at 9.8 million; international visitors are estimated at 2.3 million. Overnight visitors are estimated at over 3.7 million, reaching 118% compared to the same period in 2024. Total revenue will reach over VND 29,140 billion, reaching 131% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 107% compared to the growth scenario.
It is expected that in the third quarter, Quang Ninh will welcome 5.45 million visitors, with total tourism revenue estimated at about 16,500 billion VND.
