At 3 p.m. on January 13, Coach Nguyen Van Kin returned to Seung Ri Taekwondo Club after many hours of working with the police. Mr. Kin had a live conversation with Thanh Nien reporters about the parents' complaint about the beating of martial arts students.

Coach Nguyen Van Kin told reporters that at the police station, he gave a detailed report: "At 6 p.m. on January 9, the class had about 30 students entering the training session... After receiving the class, I thoroughly explained the training content, then moved to my private office. After 40 minutes of warm-up class, Quy (Mr. Kin's assistant) came to the office to ask for opinions on the next training content. I asked Quy to let the class practice physical exercises, until 7 p.m. when I directly taught the main content of that day. After the training session ended, at 8 p.m. the same day, I received a complaint from NTH's parent (living in Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District, father of NTNM martial artist) about the incident of beating, with pictures," Mr. Kin said.

Afterwards, Mr. Kin texted and called H.'s parents to find out the reason together. However, H.'s parents did not respond to Mr. Kin.

On the night of January 9, H.'s parents went to the People's Committee of Khue Trung Ward (Cam Le District, Da Nang City) to report the incident and immediately after that, the police invited Mr. Kin to work.

During the second meeting on the afternoon of January 13, Mr. Kin said he had told the police: "The incident happened at a time when I was in the office, I did not directly witness the situation. So I cannot assess the level of impact that assistant Quy had on the NTNM martial arts student. I tried to hear information from Quy and wanted to meet his family to clarify the incident. However, 4 days have passed and I still have not met the martial arts student's family."

According to Mr. Kin, after working with the police twice, Mr. Kin and assistant Quy can only wait for the conclusion of the investigation agency.

On the afternoon of January 13, the People's Committee of Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City announced that after the ward's authorities worked with the representative of the Seung Ri Taekwondo Club, they made a record to temporarily suspend the club's activities from January 14.

Afterwards, the People's Committee of Cam Le District (Da Nang City) directed the People's Committee of Khue Trung Ward to urgently inspect and clarify the case of parents accusing a taekwondo coach of beating their child while practicing at the club and report to the District People's Committee.
