On December 17, a group of domestic and international experts, students, tourism and travel businesses had the opportunity to visit many new destinations in Da Lat, to better understand the tourism products that this place has invested in and developed to attract tourists, especially at the end of the year. The program is within the framework of the international conference "Da Lat develops green tourism and cultural industry from natural resources, biodiversity and local culture", organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper in coordination with the People's Committee of Da Lat City. Dr. Jackie Lei Tin Ong - lecturer in tourism and hospitality at RMIT University Vietnam - said that she teaches management and development of facilities for tourism and hotels, so when visiting places like Da Lat Wonderland or the Sculpture Tunnel, she realized that these places all have the advantage of "unique selling points", especially the flowers and surrounding landscape, or the diversely sculpted statues in large spaces. "Unlike big cities, Da Lat is charming in a special way, a combination of pleasant highland climate, French cultural features remaining from history and the distant past, lingering through the architecture and roofs," shared Dr. Jackie Lei Tin Ong. Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi also have similar architectural features, but Da Lat is unique because it brings a feeling of rest and relaxation. Tourists also have the opportunity to visit The Florest, the largest natural tourist area in Da Lat, with an internal area of more than 60 hectares. Although it has only been in operation for more than a year, this destination has attracted flower lovers and those who enjoy nature-oriented activities to experience. Similarly, a group of tourists from Suphan Buri province, Thailand, could not hide their excitement before the beautiful flower hills like a picture. Ms. Apinya, a tourist in the group, said that the weather, cuisine , and scenery satisfied everyone in the group. The program ended a memorable day with a gong performance and dinner at the K'Ho Cil Cultural Village, Ta Nung Commune. Here, visitors can enjoy local specialties and interact with the K'Ho people in gong dances. According to experts, Da Lat will continue to be an ideal destination for short-term vacations, attracting families and couples with average budgets. Factors such as cool climate, beautiful landscapes and service flexibility are creating outstanding advantages, encouraging tourists to come to Da Lat to be more diverse and stay longer.
