The 1st Congress of Viet Hung Ward Trade Union Delegates

On the morning of October 15, Viet Hung Ward Trade Union held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were 120 official delegates representing more than 10,700 union members of 86 affiliated grassroots unions, along with leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and local leaders.

The political report presented at the Congress stated: Since its establishment under Decision No. 1144 dated June 26, 2025 of the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor, the Viet Hung Ward Trade Union has quickly stabilized its organization, promoted its representative role, cared for and protected the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. Patriotic emulation movements, especially the movements "Good workers, creative workers", "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation" have been vigorously deployed, contributing to the successful completion of the local socio-economic goals.

The work of caring for the lives and welfare of union members has been promoted by all levels of the ward union with many practical activities such as the program "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", "Union Meal", health check-ups, supporting union members in difficulty... The ward union is also a pioneer in building a network of safety and hygiene workers, maintaining periodic dialogues and signing collective labor agreements at 80% of enterprises with union organizations.

Comrade To Xuan Thao, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, gave a speech at the congress.

The Congress elected an Executive Committee of 7 comrades and approved the new term orientation with the goal: "Promoting the tradition of Discipline and Unity, building a strong, professional and effective trade union organization; caring for and protecting workers; contributing to building Viet Hung ward to develop rapidly, sustainably, civilized and affectionately".

With the spirit of Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development, the Congress called on all union members, workers, civil servants and laborers of Viet Hung ward to continue to promote tradition, join hands to build a strong team of workers and a Trade Union organization worthy of being a reliable support for workers.

Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation and Viet Hung ward presented flowers to congratulate 7 comrades elected to the Executive Committee of the Viet Hung Ward Labor Union.
