The 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session.

On the afternoon of October 2, at the Vinh Long Provincial Convention Center, the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session, with the participation of 500 delegates, representing more than 152,064 party members of 855 grassroots party organizations in the province.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected the Congress Secretariat and the Qualification Examination Committee for delegates to the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Accordingly, the Presidium consists of 24 comrades; the Secretariat consists of 3 comrades; the Congress Delegate Qualification Examination Committee consists of 5 comrades.

At the preparatory session, the Congress also approved the Program, regulations, and working regulations of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council Nguyen Minh Dung approved the official working day program of the Congress.

Before the preparatory session, the Congress divided into 9 groups to discuss draft documents to be submitted to the Congress; focused on discussing and contributing opinions on the results of implementing the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term in various fields and discussing the goals, tasks, solutions, and breakthroughs in the new term. This is an important step in the Congress program, a forum for delegates to promote their responsibility, intelligence, and enthusiasm for the documents to be submitted to the Congress. The opinions contributed in the discussion groups focused on assessing the results achieved, limitations, and lessons learned in implementing the Resolution of the previous Congress, while proposing directions, key tasks, and strategic solutions for the 2025-2030 period.

Many delegates emphasized the development of marine economy , renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, and logistics; at the same time, bringing digital economy, digital healthcare, and digital education into management and life, associated with improving the quality of human resources and job creation.

Delegates also gave their opinions on the work of building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system, and implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
