Dak Nong responds to participate in the Contest "Geopark and You"

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Geopark Network organizes a contest with the theme “Geoparks and You”, to honor the deep connection between people and the Earth's geological heritage.

The “Geopark and You” contest is divided into 3 categories: The Earth Visual Odyssey; The Stone's Stories; The 5 Senses of Your Geopark.

Nam Kar Volcanic Range (Point No. 7, Route 1 - Epic of Fire and Water) is located next to National Highway 28, Phu Son village, Quang Phu commune, Krong No district with a fairly intact preserved shape, is a destination not to be missed when exploring the geological and geomorphological values ​​of the UNESCO Global Geopark Dak Nong.

Participants include: photographers, no age limit; citizens living in the UNESCO Global Geopark area, no age limit; youth from 12 to 18 years old living in the UNESCO Global Geopark area.

The contest celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Global Geoparks Network (2004 - 2024). The contest encourages individuals and groups to share stories and experiences in their journey of exploring the Global Geoparks Network.

Thereby, education raises community awareness and arouses the responsibility to preserve and maintain heritage values ​​in the CVĐCTC area. The competition creates a healthy playground, encourages creativity through love for the homeland and country, towards the goal of sustainable development and creating the future.
