In general, the concept of THHP cannot be stated in a universal, global way. However, many scholars have compared THHP to a "three-layer iceberg" with two visible layers and one hidden layer, which is widely recognized. It can be said that this is an initiative that helps us have a simpler and more intuitive way to recognize THHP.
The “visible” class, which makes a strong impression is its spaciousness, orderliness, greenness - cleanliness - beauty. Everyone will be satisfied with the landscape arrangement of the buildings, represented by its reasonableness, strong cultural identity and closeness to the school. The prominence and difference are due to the uniforms and badges of teachers and students. In particular, one can feel it gently, in the sound of students joking or the bright smiles of teachers… People say, just by observing or interacting with the school gate guards, one can see what the relationships in the school will be like.
Many slogans and sayings remind the school community, easy to understand and easy to touch people's hearts: "Happy school", "Every day at school is a happy day" or "School is my home". It can be said that in this class of recognition, we always have pleasant emotions, passing by but bringing the warm and deep affection of the host and guests when they come to experience this school.
The next layer is identified through the behavior of school members, expressed in the way they treat each other and their partners, which is an expression of cultural norms in life, in educational activities, aspects related to self-esteem, interpersonal relationships between teachers and students, between colleagues and fellow students. One can also identify through "words, voice, communication style, behavior".
In the previous class, we recognized that emotions were surging and turbulent. In this class, we need to control our emotions more and initially analyze and understand the healthy cultural environment of the school in depth. Real people, real events and real behaviors are present in the school. The standard form of address in the school is teachers and students. The way of addressing according to age and hierarchy in the family or society will not be maintained in this school environment. Students are polite and respectful to teachers but must be natural, sincere and not forced. Teachers and students have their own space, but still do not feel isolated and alienated. Study in a sustainable space with an environment that ensures light, temperature, noise, hygiene and daily nutritional meals. The auxiliary building area must be transformed into the main area, clean, comfortable and friendly for teachers and students.
The last layer is the "hidden part", difficult to see but determines the entire surface part, which is the value standards of a school's cultural environment: values (truth, goodness, beauty), beliefs, expectations, awareness; relationships, school space and organization of the school's curriculum. The signs to be noticed in this last layer are through the attitude and responsibility for school development; leadership style; the level of professionalism in implementing educational activities of school members; "talking and doing", not because of the disease of virtual achievements. Determine the vision that the school needs to implement, be able to do in the medium and long term and a detailed and feasible THHP development plan. Therefore, it takes time to research, learn, interview teachers and students to accurately identify a very "real" and sustainable way of THHP.
To build a THHP is difficult, to maintain and develop sustainably for the next generations is also not easy at all. THHP has always been the goal and the path to improve the quality of education in the period of innovation.
