Promote non-cash payment of pensions and benefits

The City People's Committee has just issued Official Dispatch No. 956/UBND-NC requesting agencies, units, and localities to promote the development of non-cash payments in the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits.

Specifically, Heads of units and localities must disseminate to cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, and workers the policies of the Government and the City People's Committee on promoting cashless payments; mobilize and propagate relatives and residents living at their place of residence who are receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits in cash to switch to cashless payment methods.

The People's Committees of communes and wards direct socio- political organizations, associations, unions, community digital technology teams and Project 06 to coordinate with the Social Insurance, Ward and Commune Police to propagate and mobilize pensioners and monthly social insurance beneficiaries to switch to non-cash payment methods.

The City Post Office regularly coordinates closely with the social insurance agency and relevant units in implementing, organizing and implementing propaganda and mobilizing pensioners and monthly social insurance beneficiaries to use non-cash payment methods according to set targets, striving to achieve a non-cash payment rate of over 80% by the end of 2025.

The City People's Committee set a target of paying pensions and non-cash benefits at a rate of more than 85%, to be completed before November 30, 2025.
