The 2025 Golden Ball award ceremony will take place in the early morning of September 23 (Vietnam time). Many world football stars, including Ousmane Dembele (Paris Saint-Germain), are expected to attend.

The Frenchman had arguably the best season of his career, playing a key role in PSG's historic treble. It was the first time the Parc des Princes team had won the Champions League.

Dembele has 35 goals and 16 assists in all competitions, including important performances against Liverpool and Arsenal. Therefore, he is a strong candidate for the Golden Ball.

However, the French star is at risk of missing this moment. According to the original schedule, PSG had a match with Marseille in Ligue 1 in the early morning of September 22. However, the tournament organizers were forced to postpone it due to unfavorable weather.

Heavy rains had fallen in Marseille, where the match was taking place. The two teams had to return to the tunnel and were told the match would start on September 23. This affected the ability of PSG players, including Dembele and Desire Doue, to attend the Ballon d'Or ceremony.
