Hanoi University of Science and Technology expected benchmark score 2025, which major has the highest?

(Dan Tri) - Speaking with Dan Tri reporter on August 21, a representative of the University of Technology said that the expected highest standard score for some majors could be up to 29.

Of which, 2 industries with predicted benchmark scores of 29 and above 29 points (on a scale of 30/30) are computer engineering, data science and artificial intelligence.

“After running the virtual filter, the results fluctuate and the school makes different predictions than before, which is normal. The school will announce the official benchmark scores according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ,” said a representative of the University of Technology.

Previously, on July 18, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the predicted admission scores for 65 training programs in 2025.

In which, majors such as: Computer Engineering are expected to have a benchmark score of 26.5-28/30 scale; data science and artificial intelligence are approximately 28 points.

Thus, compared with previous forecasts, these industries are expected to increase by about 1 point.

Regarding the virtual filtering results, yesterday (August 20), Hanoi University of Science and Technology issued a notice on adjusting the announcement time of the 2025 university admission benchmark scores.

According to Hanoi University of Science and Technology, in response to the request to adjust the admission and virtual filtering plan in 2025, the admission results for the Northern region (XTMB group) will be announced by this unit at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22.

The above plan was proposed by Hanoi University of Science and Technology after the Ministry of Education and Training requested to adjust the admission and virtual filtering plan in 2025. The number of virtual filtering times nationwide increased from 6 times to 10 times.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training's admission schedule, at 12:30 on August 22, educational institutions will upload the 10th round of virtual filtering results. Thus, after 12:30 on August 22, schools will have the first round of admission benchmark scores.
