Na Ka plum valley tourist destination in Moc Chau is submerged in water

In recent days, due to the impact of storm No. 3, heavy rains have occurred in Moc Chau district, Son La province for many consecutive days. As a result, nearly 20 hectares of plums and short-term food crops grown by people in Na Ka plum valley have been flooded. This area is at risk of being completely lost if the water does not recede soon.

Currently, the water level in Na Ka valley is slowly receding, with some places flooded up to 10m deep. In this situation, the People's Committee of Moc Chau Farm town has advised people to continue monitoring the weather, move furniture and agricultural materials out of the area where houses are at risk of being flooded; do not move to deeply flooded areas, and focus on handling to minimize damage.

Speaking with Dan Viet reporter, the leader of the People's Committee of Moc Chau farm town confirmed that Na Ka valley is flooded and the water is receding very slowly.

Na Ka plum valley is located on the way to Tan Lap commune, about 7km from the heart-shaped tea hill and 16km from Moc Chau Farm town. This place is considered the plum "capital" of Moc Chau with an area of ​​over 100 hectares.
