Candidates taking the high school graduation exam this year

Today (July 22), the Admissions Council of Saigon University announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for 2 admission methods for full-time university training programs in 2024.

Accordingly, the school announced the admission scores in two ways: based on the results of the 2024 computer-based university entrance exam and the 2024 high school graduation exam scores.

With the method of considering based on the scores of the 2024 computer-based university entrance exam, Saigon University only accepts applications for non-pedagogical majors (teacher training majors are not considered for admission using this method).

Receiving points for specific industries are as follows:

Candidates who meet the admission threshold using the results of the 2024 computer-based university entrance exam will have the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination (not multiplying the main subject coefficient) + regional and subject priority points (if any) greater than or equal to the admission threshold of the desired major.

The maximum admission score is 450. The literature score is taken from the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam (the score for this subject is converted from a 10-point scale to a 150-point scale).

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores in 2024, the guaranteed entrance threshold is calculated based on the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination (not multiplying the main subject coefficient) + regional and subject priority points (if any).

Accordingly, the floor scores for majors not in the teacher training group are as follows:

For majors in the teacher training group, the threshold for ensuring the quality of input for the mathematics pedagogy major receives applications from 24.5 points; for the English pedagogy major, from 23 points. The remaining majors are equal to the threshold for ensuring the quality of input according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training for the teacher training group.

Saigon University also noted that for teacher training majors, if candidates have an English subject that uses the results of converting international English certificates into admission scores according to the school's regulations, the total score of the remaining 2 subjects in the admission combination + 2/3 priority points (if any) must reach at least 2/3 of the 2024 entrance threshold for the corresponding teacher training majors announced by the Ministry of Education and Training.

For preschool education, music pedagogy and fine arts pedagogy, the literature score or math score in the admission combination + 1/3 priority score (if any) must reach at least 1/3 of the 2024 entrance threshold for the corresponding teacher training majors announced by the Ministry of Education and Training.
