Forum to listen to workers' aspirations

On the afternoon of October 1, the Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor organized the Forum “Workers’ Aspirations - Beliefs for the Party”. This is an opportunity for the working class to express their thoughts and affirm their belief in the Party’s leadership, while demonstrating their responsibility and aspirations to contribute to the province’s development in the new period.

After merging with Long An, Tay Ninh entered a period of development with a new scale and potential: an area of ​​over 8,500 km², a population of nearly 3 million people, an economy of 350 trillion VND - among the Top 10 in the country. The province currently has 46 industrial zones and 50 clusters, with an occupancy rate of over 72%, attracting nearly 1,900 FDI projects with a capital of over 24 billion USD and more than 37,500 domestic enterprises. The position of the gateway for trade between the Southeast and the Mekong Delta is opening up a large space for development.

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province Nguyen Thanh Hai emphasized: In that development picture, the most important resource is workers and laborers - the force that directly creates material wealth, plays a pioneering role in industrialization, modernization and integration. Currently, the whole province has hundreds of thousands of workers working in industrial parks, clusters and enterprises in many fields.

The province is committed to continuing to improve mechanisms and policies to ensure rights and improve workers' lives; prioritize the development of social housing, schools, healthcare, cultural and sports facilities in industrial parks; expand traffic infrastructure and public transport for workers to settle down and find jobs. At the same time, the province focuses on developing the Party in enterprises, building a team of workers who are politically and ideologically strong.

Provincial leaders called on each worker to continuously study, practice skills, access new technology, adapt to the digital age, and meet the increasing demands of the labor market. “The province always accompanies workers, considering the development of workers as the development of Tay Ninh,” affirmed comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai.

At the forum, many workers and grassroots unions exchanged and expressed their desire to improve their lives, build a modern working environment, integrate technology, and practice skills to avoid falling behind.

The forum is an important political activity towards the 1st Congress of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, affirming the determination to develop rapidly and sustainably, together with the whole country to rise up in the new era.
