According to equipment suppliers, the number of households installing solar power in Lao Cai is increasing; mainly households with systems with capacity from 5 - 10 kWp. The cost of installing solar power systems has now decreased significantly thanks to the diversity of types and technical solutions, making it easier for many families to access.

In addition to economic factors, environmental protection awareness is also the driving force that makes many households switch to using renewable energy to be self-sufficient and ensure family life.

Every month, the unit signs installation contracts for more than 30 households and units in the area, a 10-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024.
