Appoint Mr. Tran Thanh Lam as Deputy Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee

On the morning of March 14, the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work. Attending were Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Mr. Lai Xuan Mon, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen, Acting Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tam, Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee.

At the Conference, Mr. Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Mr. Tran Thanh Lam is a well-trained officer who has held many positions. With deep professional knowledge and understanding of the country's political , economic and social situation, based on a solid grasp of theory and practical experience, he has held many positions in many different environments.

In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam expressed his deep gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; and the leaders of the Central Propaganda Department for their attention, support, and facilitation during his time working at the Central Propaganda Department as well as his assignment by the Central Party Secretariat to take up the new task at the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Tran Thanh Lam shared at the ceremony: Ben Tre is a locality with a rich history of cultural identity, a long tradition of revolution, a spirit of learning, the birthplace of outstanding children of the nation and country; is where the "Dong Khoi" fire was kindled, fanning the whole South in the great resistance war of the whole nation. "Proud of the cultural and revolutionary tradition, proud of the results and achievements of the province in the process of construction and development, I am more deeply aware that the assigned task is a great honor, but also a very heavy responsibility. The new position, new responsibility, new task requires me to constantly study, practice to overcome difficulties and challenges; make dedicated, devoted, enthusiastic, and responsible efforts for the development of Ben Tre province", said Mr. Tran Thanh Lam.
