Suspend the principal who arbitrarily transferred the school to a new facility

On August 29, news from Vinh Thuan District Party Committee ( Kien Giang ) said that the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee had just met to discuss and decide on many important tasks; including considering transferring the school from Thi Tran Secondary School to Vinh Thuan Town Secondary School (old), in Vinh Phuoc 2 Quarter, Vinh Thuan Town.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee assigned the District People's Committee to suspend Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Principal of the Town Secondary School, for arbitrarily moving the facilities of the Town Secondary School to the old Vinh Thuan Town Secondary School without the consent of the District People's Committee, causing negative public opinion among the people.

At the same time, urgently inspect the responsibility of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong and have specific conclusions. If there are any violations, handle them according to regulations.

The Standing Committee of Vinh Thuan District Party Committee requested to stop the transfer of Town Secondary School (transfer of cadres, civil servants, teachers, staff, students and facilities) to Vinh Thuan Town Secondary School (old). The reason is that the recent implementation process was not in accordance with the procedure, the preparation time was not guaranteed and there was no opinion from the District People's Committee, causing negative public opinion and low consensus among cadres, teachers, and parents.

The People's Committee of Vinh Thuan District directed the Department of Education and Training and the leaders of the Town Secondary School to urgently prepare cleaning conditions, arrange classrooms, facilities and equipment, ensuring safety for students to study and serve the opening of the 2024-2025 school year at the school.

Previously, many parents and teachers of Thi Tran Secondary School reported that the principal of this school arbitrarily sent people to transport the school's desks, chairs, and equipment to the new facility in Vinh Phuoc 2 neighborhood. Parents and teachers have not received official notice of this school transfer from the People's Committee of Vinh Thuan District and the Department of Education and Training.
