Orientation of cooperation in digital transformation, improving efficiency of management and operation of power grid between EVN and AVEVA

DNVN - General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) Nguyen Anh Tuan received and worked with the delegation of AVEVA Industrial Software Group (UK) - a member of Schneider Electric - to discuss cooperation orientation in digital transformation, improving efficiency of management and operation of the power grid.

On behalf of AVEVA, there were Ms. Ann Moore - Global Director of Electricity and Utilities, Ms. Nguyen Kim Dung - Director of AVEVA Vietnam.

At the meeting, Ms. Ann Moore introduced AVEVA's digital technology solutions in the field of industrial data mining, analysis and operation. AVEVA is currently a provider of digital solutions, operations management and asset optimization for many key industries, including the Electricity industry, with customers being the world's leading power corporations.

AVEVA representatives wish to accompany EVN as a long-term strategic partner in Vietnam's energy transition; at the same time, they expressed their willingness to share international experience and connect EVN with its global customer community, thereby supporting the standardization of processes and improving operational efficiency.

Talking to the AVEVA delegation, EVN General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan shared about the challenges that EVN is facing in the digital transformation process.

EVN leaders emphasized the need to increase the reliability of the power system, improve the capacity to integrate renewable energy sources and build a data-based management model. These are key directions in the context of EVN gradually transforming its operating model, requiring close cooperation with experienced international partners.

EVN General Director welcomed AVEVA’s proposal to support EVN in accessing international experience and participating more deeply in the global partner community. From there, EVN can learn, standardize processes and find suitable cooperation methods.
