US delegation confirms attendance at April 30th Anniversary Celebration in Vietnam

On the afternoon of April 24, answering the press at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' regular press conference about the number of international delegations accepting invitations to attend the April 30th Anniversary Celebration in Vietnam, Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang provided a lot of information.

Specifically, Vietnam is pleased to welcome the participation of military forces from Laos, Cambodia and China in the parade.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman said this demonstrates the increasingly strong solidarity, friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and other countries.

" Up to now, at Vietnam's invitation, we have confirmed the participation of many delegations of high-ranking leaders, political parties, delegates representing international organizations, peace movements, anti-war movements and international friends, including the United States," Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang added.

The 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) is a particularly important political event of national scale. The event is organized by the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, key activities will take place in Ho Chi Minh City.

The National Celebration Program will be held at 6:30 a.m. on April 30 on Le Duan Street, District 1 and some central streets of Ho Chi Minh City.

The parade program chaired by the Ministry of National Defense includes: 4 Parade blocks of the Honor Block; 36 parade blocks; 12 parade blocks. China, Laos and Cambodia sent forces to participate in the parade.
