Among the contents included in the agreement, many policies and regimes are practical and close to the living needs of workers. Notably, the basic salary is 8% higher than the regional minimum; the probationary salary is paid 90% compared to the official position; the 13th month salary bonus is calculated by the average salary actually received in 12 months. Workers work 47 hours/week, and have at least 7 days off for Lunar New Year. In addition, workers are also supported with 400,000 VND/person/month for gasoline, 730,000 VND/person/month for lunch, and 500,000 VND/person/month for diligence.
According to the Chairman of the Trade Union of Thu Duc - Long An Centrifugal Concrete Joint Stock Company, Ngo Truong Huy, the welfare regime for employees' children is also of interest. The company supports tuition fees from primary to high school with the amount of 400,000 to 600,000 VND/semester/child, rewards union members' children with good academic achievements, and gives gifts on the occasion of International Children's Day and Mid-Autumn Festival.
In addition, employees receive annual allowances for funerals, weddings, and travel ; are encouraged to study and improve their qualifications while their rights are still maintained while they are in school. The Trade Union Executive Committee also proactively proposed to coordinate with vocational training facilities to open vocational training classes right at the company. These bright spots have helped the company's collective labor agreement to be ranked A in 2024.
