Adjusted net profit soared 75.4% year-on-year to $1.512 billion, surpassing $1.4 billion for two consecutive quarters. This result demonstrates the company’s resilient profitability and steady growth from a solid foundation.
Driven by the “Human x Car x Home” smart ecosystem strategy, Xiaomi’s three core businesses – smartphones, smart electric vehicles, and smart home appliances – all recorded strong growth in the second quarter. Revenue from the smartphone segment reached US$6.37 billion, with output growing for eight consecutive quarters and maintaining its position in the top three globally for 20 consecutive quarters.
The IoT and smart consumer products segment set a new revenue record of $5.418 billion, up 44.7% year-on-year, thanks to a 66.2% increase in smart home appliance revenue.
Revenue from smart electric vehicles, AI and other new initiatives reached 2.982 billion USD, a sharp increase of 234% compared to the same period. Revenue from electric vehicles alone exceeded 2.8 billion USD for the first time, marking an important milestone for this segment.
Notably, Xiaomi has also made many strides in the field of AI large language models. In May, the company officially released and open-sourced the multimodal large language model MiMo-VL-7B. By July, 12 of Xiaomi's research papers on large language models had been accepted for publication at the world's top conferences, including ICCV 2025 and ACL 2025, affirming its innovative capabilities in AI research.
