Coach Doan Thi Kim Chi said: "In this group, in addition to the Australian representative who will be a strong opponent and a potential candidate in the group, the two opponents Stallion Laguna (Philippines) and Lion City Sailors (Singapore) also have many naturalized and foreign players.

So, calculating how to beat them is not easy but the whole team will try to achieve the goal of passing the group stage because we have the advantage of playing at home in the group stage.

To prepare for the continental tournament, the team is also looking for more foreign players but is having difficulty because the contract signing period is short and the good foreign players have not finished their contracts with their current clubs. The team is also calculating a plan to go for training before the tournament. In the continental tournament, the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club will continue to aim to pass the group stage.

More importantly, participating in the Asian tournament gives players the opportunity to compete internationally and receive more investment. Training with foreign players also helps Vietnamese players to be more excited and make more efforts.
