
The tournament will kick off from October 24 to 26 at Happyland Stadium (139 Dam Quang Trung, Long Bien, Hanoi), jointly organized by the Sports Department - Vietnam Television and TD Media Company, under the professional management of the Vietnam Sports Department and the media accompaniment of Vietcontent.
This year, the tournament brings together nearly 700 domestic and foreign athletes, competing in 11 events with a total prize value of more than 1 billion VND. Notably, many famous tennis players such as Nguyen Dac Tien, Nguyen Anh Thang and outstanding young faces will participate, affirming the quality and attraction of the tournament.

The tournament is open to all male and female athletes who are healthy and have not violated the law, including international athletes. In addition, the participation of artists, singers, actors, MCs, celebrities and businessmen also contributes to spreading Pickleball to the public.
The entire tournament applies Pickleball USA Rules of Competition, with VAR technology support according to international standards.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Dinh Dac Vinh, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, said: “Pickleball is a new sport in Vietnam but has quickly attracted players thanks to its accessibility. VTV, in collaboration with TD Media and partners, organized the tournament not only to develop the Pickleball movement but also to connect with community activities. In addition to the competition, the Organizing Committee will implement a charity fundraising program to support the Tam Long Viet Fund - a humane activity, towards the community.”

Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Department, commented that the Pickleball movement in Vietnam is developing strongly with many quality tournaments. “The attractive prize structure, the participation of excellent athletes from home and abroad, and the management of the referee team of the Vietnam Sports Department will help VTV AOSmith Pickleball Open 2025 become a prestigious tournament, contributing to promoting the Pickleball movement in Vietnam,” Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen emphasized.
Not only is it a place for top competition, the tournament also has the color of a sports festival. Spectators will experience the interactive Pickleball challenge area, family-children play area and many other community activities.
In particular, on the evening of October 25, the tournament will organize a charity fundraising program to support the Tam Long Viet Fund - a companion of the program "Heart for Children" since 2008, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing from sports to the community.
VTV AOSmith Pickleball Open 2025 is not only a tournament, but also an opportunity to promote Pickleball widely across the country.
The event promises to contribute to building a community of professional players, creating conditions for athletes to practice skills, accumulate experience, aim for international tournaments and raise the position of Vietnamese sports on the world map.
