Ho Chi Minh City women's team and CAND T&T men's team dominate the 2025 national strong team table tennis tournament

With equal strength, the Ho Chi Minh City women's team and the CAND T&T men's team dominated the 2025 national strong team table tennis tournament held in Phu Tho.

The Ho Chi Minh City women's team with Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh, Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu and senior Mai Hoang My Trang easily won the championship in the women's team event of the 2025 National Strong Teams Table Tennis Tournament. The CAND T&T men's team with Dinh Anh Hoang, Le Dinh Duc, and Ta Hong Khanh also played explosively to win the highest title in the men's team.

Not only successful in the team event, the key players of the HCMC women's team and the CAND T&T men's team continued to assert their strength in the doubles event. Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh stood with Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu to help HCMC win another gold medal in the women's doubles event after winning against the Tran Mai Ngoc/Hoang Tra My pair (CAND T&T) in the final that took place last night.

In the mixed doubles event, Dinh Anh Hoang and Tran Mai Ngoc defeated Nguyen Dang Hiep/Vu Hoai Thanh (Army) in the final, helping the CAND T&T team win the gold medal. This was not a surprising result because Dinh Anh Hoang/Tran Mai Ngoc were the reigning SEA Games champions, playing well and effectively in the mixed doubles event.

"Young general" Dinh Anh Hoang also shone in the men's doubles when he and Le Dinh Duc advanced to the final. In yesterday's final, Dinh Anh Hoang and his teammates continued to play explosively, surpassing Bui Huu Huy/Dinh Quang Minh to win the championship. This is the third gold medal of the CAND T&T team in the 2025 National Strong Teams Tournament.

The 2025 National Strong Team Table Tennis Tournament will still have two final events: men's singles and women's singles.
