On the afternoon of September 17, goalkeeper Tran Thi Kim Thanh, center back Le Thi Diem My and striker Pham Hai Yen, representing the Vietnamese women's team, went to the Fatherland Front Committee of Khuong Dinh ward (Thanh Xuan district) to present 40 million VND to share the difficulties with the victims of the mini apartment fire.

The catastrophic fire broke out at 11pm on September 12 at a mini apartment building at 37, lane 29/70, Khuong Ha street (Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi ), killing 56 people and injuring 37 others.

Authorities and kind-hearted people across the country have actively supported, helped, and shared with the victims of the fire in recent days.

Members of the Vietnam Olympic football team and the Vietnam women's team expressed their concern and wish to share difficulties with those who were unfortunate enough to have met with an accident.

The Vietnamese Olympic team is currently in Hangzhou (China) to prepare for the 19th Asian Games. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese women's team is training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. On September 19, the entire team will leave for China to participate in the Asian Games.

The Vietnamese women's team is in Group D with Nepal, Bangladesh and Japan. The Japanese team is the biggest opponent in the group. Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team's goal is to finish second in the group and hope to reach the quarter-finals.
