Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang visited and congratulated Vietnam Doctors' Day

At the visited units, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang expressed his joy and praised the results achieved by the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Provincial Mental Hospital in 2023. Sharing the difficulties with the provincial health sector and hospitals, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang affirmed that the provincial leaders will continue to pay attention and accompany the health sector to remove obstacles and difficulties.

At the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang emphasized that for Hai Duong province, the development of traditional medicine has many favorable factors because it inherits cultural and historical traditions, including the Great Physician - Zen Master Tue Tinh. He hopes that in the coming time, the collective leadership, cadres, physicians and doctors of the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital will unite, constantly strive to improve, create a breakthrough in building a unit worthy of the traditional medicine of the nation. Thereby, affirming the position of the Hai Duong traditional medicine brand, gradually raising the brand value, strengthening the people's trust in the province's traditional medicine.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang said Hai Duong hopes to find the remains of the great physician - Zen master Tue Tinh to bring back to his homeland according to his last wish when he was an ambassador and died in China.

On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang congratulated and hoped that the staff, doctors, nurses and workers of the two hospitals would continue to contribute more actively, worthy of the trust of the Party committees, authorities and people in the province.

Hai Duong Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital currently has 245 beds (294 actual beds) with 204 employees. In 2023, the hospital will have 23,300 patients for examination and treatment and 5,600 inpatients.

Hai Duong Mental Hospital currently has 250 beds (477 actual beds) with 196 employees. In 2023, the hospital will have 16,603 patients from inside and outside the province coming for medical examination.
