Contributions of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Participating in the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province made many contributions, discussions, and recommendations on many important contents for the law-making work as well as contributing solutions to remove difficulties, in order to promote the socio-economic development of the country and the province.

Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the discussion in groups.

The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly is divided into two sessions: Session 1 from May 5 to May 24; Session 2 from June 11 to June 27, 2025 in Hanoi . This is a session with many important contents, implementing the Resolution of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee - a historic conference, discussing historic decisions in the new revolutionary period of our country, bringing the country into a new era - the era of national development.

At the session, the National Assembly considered and decided on 54 contents on constitutional and legislative work, including 3 resolutions on constitutional work and 51 laws and resolutions on legislative work; 14 groups of contents on socio -economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues. With careful and responsible preparation, at the session, the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province participated in the issues discussed by the National Assembly. The National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province had over 40 opinions expressed in group discussion sessions; nearly 30 opinions expressed in the hall; 2 opinions expressed in the question and answer session. Many speeches of the National Assembly Delegates in the delegation were highly appreciated by the National Assembly and voters.

Expressing high agreement with the groups of tasks and solutions stated in the report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the State budget in the last months of 2025, National Assembly Deputy Mai Van Hai, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, suggested focusing on deploying and organizing the good implementation of Resolution No. 66 of the Politburo on innovating the work of building and enforcing laws to meet the requirements of national development in the new era. In particular, it is necessary to strictly implement the direction of the General Secretary, Chairman of the National Assembly, the Politburo, and the Secretariat on innovating thinking in building laws, overcoming the mindset of "if you can't manage, then ban". At the same time, it is recommended that the Government, ministries and branches continue to review and perfect legal regulations on production and trade of goods, strengthen post-inspection work; increase fines to be sufficiently deterrent; regulations on criminal prosecution for acts of producing and consuming counterfeit and poor quality goods causing serious consequences, especially those related to medicines, food, and goods related to human health.

Assessing the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in the first months of 2025, National Assembly Deputy Le Thanh Hoan (National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa Province), full-time member of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice, proposed that the Government should establish a steering committee to review the entire situation and promptly assign the use of agricultural and forestry land to localities, and take measures to handle any problems. At the same time, he suggested that the State should proactively review to ensure the issuance of land use right certificates to people; strengthen solutions to prevent online fraud...

At the session, the National Assembly deputies of Thanh Hoa province also participated in the discussion and gave opinions on draft laws and resolutions, including: Draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; Draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); Draft Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended); Draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies; Draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of People's Courts; Draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Enterprises... In which, many contents received in-depth and highly constructive comments from the participating deputies, which were acknowledged and highly appreciated by the National Assembly and studied and absorbed by the drafting committee.

Not only stopping at the scope of opinions in the discussion sessions in groups and halls, with close attention and understanding of reality, the National Assembly Deputies of the province actively participated in the question and answer sessions at the session. The delegates of the National Assembly Delegation of the province frankly mentioned the "hot" issues in the country's socio-economic life regarding the implementation of legal regulations on extra teaching and learning; the work of ensuring a safe and healthy educational environment... In addition to participating in the main activities of the 9th Session, the National Assembly Deputies of the province also spent time participating in other activities, such as: attending meetings of the National Assembly Committees of which the delegates are members and many other conferences and seminars; answering interviews of news agencies, newspapers, and television on pressing issues that voters nationwide are interested in. Along with that, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation took the opportunity to exchange and work with leaders of central ministries and branches to make recommendations and remove difficulties and obstacles, seek help from ministries and branches and exchange experiences with a number of leaders and National Assembly Delegations of other provinces and cities to promote the socio-economic development of the province.

The activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly contributed to the overall success of the session; the National Assembly Deputies demonstrated their role as representatives of the will and aspirations of the People, truly being a bridge between the Party, the State and the People, between the National Assembly and voters, worthy of the trust of voters in the province.
