Many exciting emulation movements

Reporter: In the exciting atmosphere towards the 1st Congress of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, could you please review some outstanding, creative and practical emulation movements that are being widely responded to by workers in enterprises to celebrate the important event of the province?

Comrade Bui Thi Bich Thuy: Towards the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, union members and workers in the province are actively responding to many practical, creative and influential emulation movements. Notably, the peak emulation period with the theme "120 days of creativity, breakthroughs, successful completion of goals and tasks in 2025" is a highlight.

Typical movements that are taking place vigorously in enterprises include: The "120-day sprint" movement with the determination to overcome difficulties, complete on schedule, and ensure the quality of works and products to welcome the Congress.

Competitions such as: "Accelerate, break through, reach the finish line", "Competition to work overtime, reach the finish line early", "One initiative per week", "Each team has a solution to overcome difficulties" aim to encourage the spirit of union members and workers to participate in innovation, technical improvement, productivity improvement, cost savings, contributing to improving production and business efficiency.

The movement promotes initiatives and improves production processes. Each worker and employee is encouraged to become a "competition soldier", each workshop and team becomes a "center of creativity and productivity". Compete to implement labor discipline, accompany businesses to overcome difficulties, ensure jobs, income and life of workers, especially in the peak months at the end of 2025.

These movements not only create a vibrant competitive atmosphere among workers but also affirm the pioneering role and responsibility of the Dong Nai working class, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic targets in 2025 and welcoming the success of the 1st Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Reporter: Could you please tell us what Dong Nai workers believe in and expect from the new decisions and directions that the Congress will set out?

Comrade Bui Thi Bich Thuy: Workers are an important force contributing to the socio-economic development of Dong Nai province. Looking forward to the 1st Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, workers have placed their trust, expectations and hopes that the Congress will introduce policies to attract sustainable, high-quality investment to create more stable jobs and increasingly higher incomes.

There is a policy to build social housing at prices suitable for workers to help them settle down and stabilize their lives; add playgrounds, cultural facilities, kindergartens, and schools for workers' children in industrial parks.

Workers also expect to have more opportunities to be trained, improve their skills, and access new technology to adapt to digital transformation and the 4.0 industrial revolution.

Promoting Party development among workers

Reporter: How do the issues of Party development among workers and improving the quality of Party activities in enterprises continue to be of concern to Trade Unions at all levels in the area? Could you inform us about some of the achievements in Party development work in enterprises in the past term?

Comrade Bui Thi Bich Thuy: After the province's merger, as of August 31, 2025, Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union has 740,288 union members/782,536 workers (number of workers in places where there is a trade union). Of which, 4,129 party members are union members and workers in enterprises and units with non-state investment capital.

In parallel with the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions, the work of developing party members after the merger is being continued to be synchronously deployed to all union levels in the province.

The Provincial Federation of Labor directs grassroots unions to review, develop plans, and assign responsibilities in discovering and nurturing sources of Party members. Linking the work of developing Party members in enterprises with patriotic emulation movements and union activities, creating motivation for the masses to actively train and strive to join the Party.

In recent times, Party organizations in non-state enterprises have paid attention to innovating the content, form, and methods of Party activities such as organizing thematic activities associated with the implementation of production and business tasks in enterprises. Thereby, it has created a strong change in the awareness and actions of Party members, union members, and workers, innovating working styles, aspirations, and contributing to the construction and socio-economic development of Dong Nai province. Thanks to that, the position and role of Party organizations and Trade Union organizations in non-state enterprises have been increasingly consolidated and strengthened.

Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union always considers the work of educating and training outstanding union members to introduce them to the Party for consideration of admission as an important task and regular responsibility of the Trade Union organization.

Implementing the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Steering Committee of 07 Provincial Party Committees in the past time, the Provincial Labor Federation has coordinated with functional branches to strengthen propaganda and party development among workers.

As a result, in the period of 2020-2025, Dong Nai Provincial Trade Unions at all levels introduced more than 1,600 outstanding union members who are workers for the Party to consider and recruit. Of these, more than 300 production workers were recruited into the Party. Thereby, increasing the total number of Party members who are workers in enterprises and units with non-state investment capital to more than 4,100 people by the end of August 2025.

Reporter: What are the main solutions that the Provincial Federation of Labor is focusing on implementing to contribute to promoting the pioneering role of the Trade Union organization in building the working class in the area in the coming time, comrade?

Comrade Bui Thi Bich Thuy: In the coming time, to continue affirming its role as a pioneering representative organization in building a strong working class, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation will focus on strengthening political and ideological education for workers. Strengthen propaganda and education on Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, and the revolutionary tradition of the working class. Focus on innovating the organization of propaganda activities of the Trade Union to promptly meet the requirements in the current situation.

Focus on propagating the task of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers along with practical and effective welfare activities. Build a team of cadres doing propaganda work at the grassroots level with intelligence, courage, enthusiasm, responsibility, and good professional skills.

Innovate and strengthen the work of mobilization, propaganda, education, improve the political capacity, educational level, professional skills, industrial style, labor discipline of union members and workers. Promote patriotic emulation movements, build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations. Actively participate in Party and government building, contributing to the comprehensive development of Dong Nai province.

Grasp, forecast correctly, orient accurately, handle correctly and promptly the ideological issues of union members, especially regarding the organization and operation of the Union. Focus on grasping public opinion in society to orient and ensure ideological unity in the Union organization system.

Building a team of trade union cadres, focusing on full-time trade union cadres and grassroots trade unions with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige to meet the tasks in the new situation; organizing training courses to raise awareness of the position and role of trade unions in the political system and conditions for trade union activities in the new situation, identifying opportunities and challenges in trade union activities in response to international integration requirements; training and fostering to improve the effective use of mass media and social networks in a practical way, attracting union members and workers to trade union activities.
