According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (July 14), heavy rains will spread to many regions across the country. The plains and coastal areas of the North, North and Central Central, Central Highlands and South are likely to experience moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain.

Common rainfall in the delta and coastal areas of the North, Central Highlands and South is 60-120mm, with some places over 200mm.

In particular, the North and Central Central regions have rainfall of 100-200mm, with some places over 250mm.

Weather in Hanoi area, intermittent sunshine during the day, showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. The heat gradually decreases, the temperature drops 1-2 degrees compared to yesterday, commonly in the range of 25-34 degrees. Humidity 65-94%

It is forecasted that in the next 2 days, the Hanoi area will maintain a cloudy sky pattern, with sunny days, widespread showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain. Next week, Hanoi will end the heat wave, the weather will remain cool, with the highest temperature ranging from 31-32 degrees.

At sea, the low pressure area has strengthened into a tropical depression, with wind gusts of level 8 and moving towards our mainland. By 4pm today and the following hours, the tropical depression will strengthen and increase wind speed but maintain its moving direction.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan
