Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, said that after the meeting between Vietnam Railway Corporation and Thua Thien Hue province in November on the implementation of the Hue - Da Nang train route, Thua Thien Hue province directed departments and branches to assess and survey the current traffic situation between Hue and Da Nang, tourist groups and forms of travel; work with the Thua Thien Hue Tourism Association to discuss cooperation solutions with Vietnam Railway Corporation to operate the Hue - Da Nang train.

Mr. Hoang Hai Minh said that to deploy the Hue - Da Nang tourist train, it is necessary to evaluate and identify the main group of customers using this route as a means of transportation to choose a suitable implementation plan; study similar models to come up with a suitable plan.
In addition, the construction of services on the Hue - Da Nang route must be different in the direction of train services with route experiences and tourist services on the route and on the train as well as tourist services between the two destinations Hue and Da Nang and Lang Co tourist destination; contributing to ensuring traffic connection for people between the two cities of Hue and Da Nang.
In addition, it is necessary to develop implementation plans to be able to combine with tourism and travel businesses and related businesses between the two cities to create close cooperation between Vietnam Railway Corporation, the authorities of Da Nang city and Thua Thien Hue province, tourism and service businesses in the two localities.

Thua Thien Hue Province has assigned the Provincial Development Research Institute to conduct a survey of over 400 visitors and residents in Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang to find out the wishes and requirements of people when traveling or experiencing the Hue - Da Nang railway route.

Vietnam Railways Corporation hopes to receive support from Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang city in deploying the Hue - Da Nang tourist train.
