Expected inauguration of Vinh Hao Expressway

BTO- The Ministry of Transport has just sent a dispatch to the Prime Minister reporting on the planned inauguration ceremony of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet and Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressways on Sunday morning (May 28). The venue: first at Cam Nam commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province; then move 100 km to Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province.

Previously, the Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet expressway was put into operation on the morning of May 19. Initially, the number of vehicles was quite low, but then from noon on May 19, the number of vehicles passing through the expressway gradually increased, many drivers were eager to enter the new expressway, saving travel time from Phan Thiet - Phan Rang (and vice versa). On this expressway, there are 5 intersections that have been opened to traffic, many items such as residential roads and overpasses are continuing to be completed by the end of June 2023.

Overall, after 5 days of operation, traffic on this highway has remained stable, with checkpoints at intersections to prevent motorbikes from entering the highway. In addition, the patrol team has discovered and stopped a number of motorbikes running on the highway, causing traffic safety problems.
