Putting the laboratory for testing agricultural products and food at Bac Luan II border gate into operation

On February 6, in Mong Cai, Tan Dai Duong International Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) and China Testing Group - Guangxi Co., Ltd., Dongxing Branch (China) signed the acceptance of the handover of the office building and equipment for the agricultural and food testing laboratory (CCIC) at Bac Luan II border gate.

With the aim of ensuring that Vietnamese goods that have been tested and meet the standards for export to the Chinese market are cleared through customs smoothly, avoiding unnecessary losses such as: goods being turned back, goods being destroyed... due to not meeting standards, from August 2024, Tan Dai Duong International Import Export Joint Stock Company (Mong Cai - Vietnam) and China Testing Group - Guangxi Company Limited, Dongxing Branch (China) have cooperated to invest in building a laboratory to test the quality of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the area of ​​the project to invest in building technical infrastructure for services - trade of Bac Luan II Bridge Inter-sectoral Control Station with a system of testing houses, modern machinery and equipment, ensuring testing and examination of Vietnamese agricultural, forestry and fishery products exported to the Chinese market.

The laboratory has a total area of ​​430m2, designed and equipped with modern equipment according to international standards ISO 17025 with a total investment of 30 billion VND. The laboratory is located at Bac Luan 2 Inspection Site, Tan Dai Duong International Import Export Joint Stock Company, the area adjacent to Mong Cai International Border Gate - Bac Luan II Bridge Area.

Leaders of Mong Cai city and border gate sectors presented flowers to congratulate the two enterprises.

The testing room with a system of modern, synchronous, environmentally friendly equipment, large scale, is capable of accurately analyzing many indicators of food safety, product quality indicators, such as: Residual plant protection chemicals, antibiotics, toxins, bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, yellowing substances in food... This will contribute to supporting management agencies, organizations, and enterprises in proactively monitoring the quality of food, agriculture, forestry, and fishery products to ensure safety before exporting to the Chinese market.

After being put into operation, the laboratory will provide the following services: Testing and inspection services for food, agricultural, forestry and fishery products; origin tracing services and product quality consulting services for customers in need; popularizing the legal policies and regulations on border gate supervision of the People's Republic of China related to the quality of agricultural, forestry and fishery products and other items exported to China.

The cooperation in building a laboratory between Tan Dai Duong International Import Export Joint Stock Company and China Testing Group - Guangxi Co., Ltd. Dong Hung Branch is of great significance in the export of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products to China at present, and in the future, the export of other fruits, foods, animals and plants; contributing to reducing the customs clearance time for exported goods, thereby helping import-export enterprises reduce costs related to the testing and tracing of exported goods, pushing up the export turnover of goods from Vietnam to the Chinese market.
