100m hurdles race brings together beautiful athletes

Today, September 14, Huynh Thi My Tien, the only Vietnamese athlete participating in the 2025 World Athletics Championships, will enter a special competition, when she will not only face the fastest running stars in the world.

The event My Tien competed in was the 100m hurdles, an event known as the "beauty race" in athletics, gathering athletes who are outstanding in both talent and beauty.

Hurdles are a very special event in athletics. American cosmetic expert Anna Lancet commented:

"Compared to other running events, hurdles involve continuous jumping to overcome hurdles. Of course, having a lean, well-proportioned body will bring many advantages.

In addition, jumping movements help develop the gluteal and thigh muscles, increasing the athlete's attractiveness.

Perhaps that's why hurdler stars often take better care of their appearance than their colleagues in the running group of athletics.

A clear example is Chinese star Wu Yanni - who has created a lot of controversy for wearing heavy makeup every time he plays.

Although many athletes have criticized Wu for being "too fussy and pretentious", the truth is that Wu has admirable talent and beauty.

Now 28 years old, Wu dominates domestic running events, and won a bronze medal at the 2025 Asian Championships.
