TPO - On the evening of September 17 (August 15 of the lunar calendar), thousands of people poured into the streets to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, causing traffic jams on the streets of Da Nang .

According to Tien Phong, thousands of people flocked to major streets such as Le Duan, Dien Bien Phu, Ton Duc Thang, Ong Ich Khiem... to have fun and watch lion dances on the Mid-Autumn Festival night, causing many roads to be jammed with people and vehicles.

Since 7pm, major roads in Da Nang have been packed with people and vehicles on Mid-Autumn Festival night.

"I didn't expect so many people to come out to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. I took my child for a walk to enjoy the atmosphere, but now I'm stuck here, not knowing when I'll get home," said Nguyen Thi, a resident of Cam Le district.

Children were taken by their parents to play Mid-Autumn Festival and watch lion dances.

A group of young people went together to watch the lion dance on the Mid-Autumn Festival night.

Many people stopped their cars to watch the lion dance, causing traffic jams.

In the area of ​​Dien Bien Phu and Le Duan streets, authorities must constantly regulate and remind lion dance troupes and passersby to avoid causing traffic jams and ensure security and order.

After 10pm, the streets were still crowded with people and vehicles.

"With the current situation, I'll probably have to wait until the lion dance is over before I can get my bike out. There are so many people watching that I don't know how to get my bike home," said Tran Ngoc Loan, a resident who came to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
