The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has just issued Official Dispatch No. 6150/CD-EVN dated September 24, 2025, requesting member units to urgently deploy response plans for storm No. 9 (RAGASA).
The telegram was sent to Son La Hydropower Company, Hoa Binh Hydropower Company, Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company, Huoi Quang - Ban Chat Hydropower Company, Ialy Hydropower Company, Se San Hydropower Company; Thai Binh Thermal Power Company; Power Project Management Board 1, Power Project Management Board 2, Power Project Management Board 3; Power Generation Corporation 1, Power Generation Corporation 2, Power Generation Corporation 3; National Power Transmission Corporation; Northern Power Corporation, Central Power Corporation, Hanoi Power Corporation; Power Telecommunications and Information Technology Company; and Power Communication and Information Center.
Accordingly, EVN requests units to urgently implement the instructions in Official Dispatch No. 7294/CD-BCT dated September 24, 2025 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Official Dispatch No. 6130/CD-EVN dated September 24, 2025 of the Group on proactively responding to super typhoon RAGASA; at the same time, continue to strictly implement Directive No. 07/CT-BCT dated March 20, 2025 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Directive No. 1777/CT-EVN dated March 21, 2025 of EVN on natural disaster prevention and search and rescue.
For units affected by storms and storm circulation, EVN requires updating reports and full data to SMIS software before 07:00, 13:00 and 19:00 every day. Units in disaster areas without incidents or damage do not need to report. Leaders of corporations and units are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of reported data and information.
