EVNGENCO1 aims to exceed 2024 electricity output plan

In November, EVNGENCO1's production and business activities took place continuously and stably, the generators continued to operate safely and reliably, meeting the system's requirements. In the context of the power system's load continuing to increase compared to the same period last year and the plan of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , EVNGENCO1 effectively implemented the coal supply work, thereby meeting the operational needs and ensuring the reserve volume.

In addition, the water flow rate of most of the Corporation's hydropower reservoirs is quite good. EVNGENCO1 has worked with the National Electricity System and Market Operation Company Limited (NSMO) to plan to mobilize appropriate reservoirs, provide enough water to meet downstream needs and gradually increase water levels to ensure operational needs by the end of the year.

Regarding construction investment, the projects are being implemented by the Corporation according to the assigned schedule. By the end of November, the construction investment implementation volume reached 100% and the disbursement value reached 99.6% of the 2024 plan assigned by EVN.

EVNGENCO1 continues to proactively carry out natural disaster prevention, control and search and rescue work, while strengthening the operation and regulation of hydroelectric reservoirs to ensure the safety of works and minimize damage caused by flooding in downstream areas. Hydroelectric units in the Corporation also organize conferences to propagate natural disaster prevention, avoidance, mitigation and regulations on ensuring dam safety for people in downstream areas.

In addition, environmental protection work is focused on and many strict and effective measures are implemented, focusing on implementing solutions to promote ash consumption at Duyen Hai Thermal Power Plant.

Social security work continues to be carried out by the Corporation and its units, focusing on activities such as sponsoring teaching equipment for Tuong Duong district, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An province), building houses for comrades in Lam Dong province, supporting disaster prevention equipment in Quang Nam province... Social security activities are carried out regularly and continuously, contributing to spreading positive images and values ​​of EVNGENCO1's social responsibility to the community, enhancing understanding and consensus with the activities of the Corporation and its units.

In December 2024, EVNGENCO1 will focus on ensuring safe and efficient operation of the plants, completing the assigned electricity output of 3.057 billion kWh, thereby completing the 2024 task. Specifically, the thermal power sector will maintain continuous operation of the units, implementing tasks in the program to improve reliability and operation in the period 2024 - 2025 in accordance with EVN's direction. The hydropower sector will ensure the availability coefficient of the units and coordinate with NSMO to regulate the reservoir, ensuring water storage at the end of the year. Maintenance and repair work will continue to be carried out as planned.

Investment, construction, digital transformation and other works will still be implemented by EVNGENCO1 according to plan, maintaining sustainable and stable production activities throughout the Corporation.

On the occasion of EVN Customer Gratitude Month 2024 and the practical celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam Electricity industry's tradition, EVNGENCO1 will strengthen the implementation of social security activities such as organizing the Duyen Hai Affection Program, EVN Pink Week, supporting educational and medical activities, visiting and supporting poor households, supporting lonely elderly people without support, policy families, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, children in difficult circumstances...
