Nearly 700 young players compete in the preliminary round of "Japan Football Dream"

(NLDO) - The "Japan Football Dream" 2025 program attracted nearly 700 young players to participate in the preliminary round, creating a vibrant atmosphere on August 2.

The program is implemented by Otsuka Nutraceutical Vietnam Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Club, BMG Academy and partners. This is considered a special playground for young talents, helping to orient their careers and opening up opportunities to access the international professional football environment.

Under the professional guidance of coach Dinh Hong Vinh, the contestants underwent a series of tests on personal skills, physical strength and ability to handle situations on the field.

Evaluating the professional quality, Coach Dinh Hong Vinh shared: "Many players show good tactical thinking and outstanding individual skills. This is a positive signal for the future of Vietnamese youth football."

The preliminary round created a bustling atmosphere, attracting the attention and cheering of many parents and fans. The organizing committee also arranged support areas such as games, water, resting areas, etc. to ensure favorable conditions for young players and spectators.

Young players compete for tickets to the finals, with two spots going to Japan.

The best faces after the preliminary round will move on to the final round scheduled to take place on August 10 at Ba Ria Stadium (Ba Ria Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

Here, outstanding players will have the opportunity to be selected to train with Tokushima Vortis Club in Japan in March 2026, thereby opening the door to experience professional football and develop an international career.
