Nearly 800 athletes compete at the SeaStar Nha Trang Bay 2025 swimming tournament

The SeaStar Nha Trang Bay 2025 swimming tournament will take place from June 20 to 22 with the participation of nearly 800 domestic and foreign athletes. The total prize value is more than 200 million VND with 6 competition distances from 500 m to 10 km.

On June 20, the SeaStar Nha Trang Bay 2025 sea swimming tournament officially opened at Sailing Club Nha Trang beach, Tran Phu street, Nha Trang city (Khanh Hoa). The event, jointly organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province and Trung Thang Trade and Service Tourism Company, promises to become one of the largest sea sports activities in the Central region in 2025.

The special feature of this year's tournament is the variety of competition distances, suitable for all types of athletes. The shortest distance is the "Mini Swim" 500 m for children aged 7 and older at the time of registration. Next is the "Relay" distance, also 500 m, but competed in teams.

The two middle distance events "Welcome to Beloved Nha Trang" (1 km) and "Explore Nha Trang Bay" (2 km) are for athletes aged 10 and 12 years old respectively. These events are expected to attract a large number of amateur swimming enthusiasts.

The biggest challenge is the two long distances "Challenge Hon Tre Island" (5 km) and "Conquer Hon Tre Island" (10 km), only for athletes aged 16 and over. According to registration statistics, the 5 km distance has attracted up to 250 athletes - the highest number of all the competitions.

Ms. Minh Ngoc (31 years old, from Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa) happily said that although this was her first time participating, she was still determined to finish in the top.

Tran Thi Mai Phuong (12 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City) shared that this was the second time she participated in the sea swimming competition.

Regarding the prize structure, the Organizing Committee has prepared 48 final prizes for men and women according to ranking, and 102 prizes for age groups of each distance. The total prize value is more than 200 million VND, demonstrating serious investment in the quality of the first prize.

The representative of the Organizing Committee emphasized that SeaStar Nha Trang Bay 2025 is not only a sports tournament but also has a special meaning in promoting the image of Nha Trang sea tourism . The event is expected to contribute to bringing memorable moments, raising awareness of public health and strengthening solidarity between countries.
