In September 1958, Tra My District Party Committee assigned comrade Huynh Kim (Huynh Phung) to Cang commune to guide party development. After nearly 1 year of construction, on July 15, 1959, Cang commune Party Cell was established. Tra My District Party Committee appointed comrade Dinh Dia as Party Cell Secretary; comrades Dinh Do and Dinh Tay as Party Cell members.

The birth of the Cang Commune Party Cell proves that the revolutionary light of the Party has reached the people, the highland forests. From here, the Xo Dang people of Cang Commune have had the leadership of the Party, their awareness has moved to a new period - the period of rising up to fight to break the chains and shackles, to drive out foreign invaders, and to liberate the homeland.

Under the leadership of the Party Cell, in December 1960, the Cang commune militia and guerrillas, together with the people, arranged spikes, traps, and stone traps, and with the help of armed units of Military Region 5, fought to repel two enemy sweeps and probes in Ngok La village (village 1) and Tak Rang (village 2), destroyed 5 enemies on the spot, captured a number of enemy weapons, military uniforms, and equipment, and provided them to us.

On May 28, 2010, the President awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces during the period of resistance against the US for national salvation to the Party Committee, government and people of Tra Cang commune.

Over 65 years of establishment and development, from 3 party members of Cang commune Party Cell, up to now Tra Cang commune Party Cell has 10 affiliated party cells, the number of party members has increased in both quality and quantity.

The Party Committee always promotes political and ideological education; promotes studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, creating positive changes from perception to action among cadres, party members and people, creating trust, solidarity and unity within the Party.

During the leadership process, the Party Committee of the commune proposed many suitable solutions; promptly and effectively applied the State's support policies, gradually improved people's lives, helped them escape poverty and become rich legitimately.
