Youth project "Warm water in highland areas" for highland students

DNO - On July 11 and 12, the Youth Union of Da Nang City Police coordinated with relevant units to organize a large-scale social volunteer program in mountainous communes and Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 (located in Phuoc Tra commune, Da Nang city) with a total implementation cost of 170 million VND.

This is an activity of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Police Campaign, according to the plan of the Director of Da Nang City Police and the direction of the Ministry of Public Security .

The highlight of the program is the youth project “Warm water in the highlands”, a model using T-Sona wood stoves to create hot water installed at 3 kindergartens and primary schools in Tra Linh, Tra Tap and Nam Tra My communes. The total value of the project is 50 million VND from socialized sources.

This is also a project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) of the youth of the Da Nang City Public Security.

Along with that, the program also implemented many practical activities such as giving 40 bicycles and 40 gifts to students and poor households in Hiep Duc and Phuoc Tra communes (worth more than 100 million VND); implementing the model "Foster children of the Union", awarding 3 scholarships to poor students overcoming difficulties; accompanying Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2, giving gifts to units and students who have made progress in the treatment process.
