One person died in an accident while driving in the wrong direction on Song Than overpass.

By the early morning of September 25, Di An City Police ( Binh Duong ) had completed the investigation of the scene of a traffic accident between a motorbike and a car on Song Than overpass. The accident left a man dead on the spot. The victim was identified as Mr. Ngo Duc H. (40 years old, from Ha Nam).

Accident scene on Song Than overpass

Initial information, at around 9:00 p.m. on September 24, a car traveling on National Highway 1 (from District 12 to Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City), when going up the Song Than overpass (An Binh Ward, Di An City) collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. H. The strong collision caused Mr. H. to fall onto the road and die on the spot.

At the scene, debris was scattered everywhere, the motorbike was completely deformed. The front of the car was dented. The impact of the accident caused traffic congestion in the area.

Upon receiving the news, Di An City Police were present at the scene to regulate traffic, examine, and extract security cameras to clarify the cause of the accident.

According to the police, the initial assessment was that Mr. H. was driving his motorbike in the wrong direction on the Song Than overpass, collided head-on with the front of a car, resulting in his death. As of this morning, September 25, the authorities have contacted the victim’s family. The case is still being investigated.
