iPhone 13 price drops to lowest level since its launch in Vietnam

(Dan Tri) - After many price adjustments, iPhone 13 has become the genuine iPhone with the lowest price that Apple is selling in the Vietnamese market.

According to a survey by Dan Tri reporters, the iPhone 13 is being offered by dealers at a price of 11.3 million VND. However, users currently only have the option of the 128GB storage version, along with 2 color options: black and white.

"After adjusting the selling price down to just over 11 million VND, the purchasing power of iPhone 13 has recorded a growth of about 10%. Currently, iPhone 13 has not only replaced the sales of iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 in the same period before, but also exceeded our expectations," said a representative of Minh Tuan Mobile system.

Up to now, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 duo have almost disappeared from genuine store shelves. After the recent price reduction, iPhone 13 will replace the position of the above two products, and at the same time become the genuine iPhone with the lowest price that Apple is selling in the Vietnamese market.

"Currently, many retail systems have stopped selling iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. Adjusting the selling price of the iPhone 13 line to the segment of just over 11 million VND is a familiar strategy.

Apple also did the same with the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 at the same time in previous years. After the price adjustment, sales of the iPhone 13 recorded a 20% growth compared to the same period last year," said Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, media representative of the CellphoneS system.

In fact, Apple "killed" the iPhone 13 product line in September 2024 right after the company announced the iPhone 16 generation. However, the company still continues to maintain iPhone 13 business operations in some markets, including Vietnam.

This move is aimed at expanding the product range and helping the company diversify its customer segment. From there, users can also have easier access to Apple devices.

"Currently, the supply of iPhone 13 is still adequate. The amount of goods in the system can still be enough to meet customer demand until the beginning of the third quarter, but there is currently no schedule for new arrivals in the near future," said Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Director of Apple Products at Di Dong Viet system.

According to dealers, the prices of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 are not much different. Therefore, it is likely that Apple will stop producing one of these two product lines in the near future.
