Accordingly, on October 20, the People's Committee of Ia Ly commune ( Gia Lai province) mobilized more than 30 officials to support 5 households in moving their assets out of the dangerous area of the landslide area of the road to the OPY 500kV Station - Ia Ly Hydropower Plant.
The authorities helped people dismantle and transport tables, chairs, cabinets, belongings and pets of households to safety by truck. In the morning, the commune completed the relocation of property of 2 households, and in the afternoon continued to support the remaining 3 households.

All of the households’ belongings were moved to temporary rented houses far from the landslide area; initially, the locality allocated reserve funds to support rental costs. Previously, one household directly affected had been relocated since September.

Mr. Ro Cham Tam, Vice Chairman of Ia Ly Commune People's Committee, was present at the scene to direct the evacuation work to minimize damage to people.
Previously, as SGGP Newspaper reported, the road leading to OPY 500kV Station - Ia Ly Hydropower Plant, completely collapsed with a length of 320m, 6m deep, paralyzing traffic and threatening 6 households. Currently, the collapsed location is showing a tendency to expand to neighboring locations.
