Gia Vien organizes investment promotion activities

Within the framework of the Investment Promotion Program, on the morning of March 10, the People's Committee of Gia Vien district continued to organize promotional activities, introducing destinations and tourism products to investors and businesses inside and outside the province.

Attending the event were Mr. Luong Van Tu, former Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade , former Head of the Government's economic and trade negotiation delegation, and Head of the negotiation delegation for accession to the WTO and the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Economic and Trade Information Consulting; leaders of Gia Vien district; representatives of the Business and Investment Magazine; Ninh Binh Province Business Association, Business Associations of provinces and cities; representatives of businesses and investors inside and outside the province.

Gia Vien District is an ancient land rich in historical traditions, and also possesses beautiful landscapes such as: Bai Dinh Pagoda Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area (Gia Sinh Commune), Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve (Gia Van Commune), Kenh Ga Hot Mineral Spring Area (Gia Thinh Commune)... In particular, this place is considered the land of "birth of kings and saints", the birthplace of King Dinh Tien Hoang.

To promote the potential and strengths of the district, especially in culture, history and landscape relics, in recent times the district has created many new tourism products, notably the "Return to the Roots" tour with the aim of bringing meaningful cultural tourism experiences to tourists and people, especially targeting students to educate the younger generation about the historical and cultural values of their homeland, while promoting investment attraction and sustainable tourism development in Gia Vien.

In 2024, on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang, the People's Committee of Gia Vien district plans to organize commemorative activities on March 23-24, 2024 (ie February 14-15 of the lunar calendar), including: the ceremony and the festival. The ceremony: organize incense offering, palanquin procession, and worship at the Temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang, Gia Phuong commune. The festival: organize folk games, perform Cheo, and exchange cultural activities with the masses.

During the program, the delegation offered incense and visited the temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang, a tourist destination in the tour "Returning to the roots."

Next, the delegation visited Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve and enjoyed the art program "Cheo mat on Van Long lagoon". This is a new tourism product, recently put into operation with the aim of contributing to the preservation of folk art and culture associated with enriching tourism products.

During the working process, the delegation highly appreciated the efforts of Gia Vien district in investing in facilities, infrastructure, and renewing tourism products. The combination of exploiting cultural, historical, and craft village elements has made the destination more attractive and vibrant. This is also a favorable condition to open up opportunities for exchange, cooperation, building and exploiting new and unique tours and routes, forming diverse destinations, expanding the market, and attracting more tourists in the coming time.

Through this tourism promotion and advertising activity, Gia Vien tourism brand has gradually been affirmed, attracting businesses to invest and learn. Thereby exploiting the potential of sustainable tourism associated with preserving and promoting traditional cultural and historical values. At the same time, the locality is committed to creating all favorable conditions to promote the investment process, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the area.
