Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City: The city selects experienced exam invigilators

(NLDO)- Ho Chi Minh City selects exam invigilators, giving priority to high school teachers who have invigilated mock exams to gain experience in distributing elective subject questions.

On the morning of June 26, at the Nguyen Thi Dieu High School exam site (District 3), Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, came to encourage the candidates and exam invigilators at this exam site.

Visiting the candidates here, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu wished the candidates to be calm, confident, do well on the test, and achieve the desired results in this year's high school graduation exam. At the same time, he hoped and wished the leaders of the exam sites, invigilators, and service staff at the exam sites to successfully complete their assigned tasks.

Nguyen Thi Dieu High School has 20 examination rooms with nearly 500 candidates and about 80 invigilators, leaders and staff serving the examination site. This is the examination site with candidates following the 2018 General Education Program.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu wishes the candidates to be calm, confident, do well on the test, and achieve the desired results.

According to Mr. Hieu, the 2025 high school graduation exam is the first graduation exam under the 2018 General Education Program, but there are still some candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program, so the selection of candidates taking the same program at the same testing site must also comply with regulations.

The head of the city's education and training sector emphasized that this year the city has been practicing the exam regulations since the end of May, when schools organized trial exams so that students could experience the format and content just like a real exam.

The city also chooses high school and middle school teachers as exam invigilators, but still prioritizes high school teachers who have invigilated mock exams to gain experience in distributing elective subject questions.

In an exam room, there can be 3 to 4 elective subjects in 2 exam shifts, so the Ministry of Education and Training has very clear regulations on this matter. Specifically, candidates will be arranged to sit in the exam room in consecutive order according to the registration form diagram, and the exam supervisor will distribute the elective subject test papers for each subject.

“All leaders of the exam sites and invigilators have been thoroughly trained, but we must not be complacent. We must be very focused, and all steps must be done according to regulations so that the 2025 high school graduation exam in Ho Chi Minh City will be a success,” the leader of the city’s Department of Education and Training emphasized.
