Google reveals shocking Android super project for PC
At Snapdragon Summit 2025, Google and Qualcomm publicly announced the Android for PC project, promising to open a new era of computing with AI power.

Google first revealed its plans to bring Android to PCs at the Snapdragon Summit 2025. Rick Osterloh, Google's senior vice president of devices and services, said the project will unify mobile and PC platforms.
He emphasized that Google and Qualcomm are building a common technical infrastructure for PCs and desktop systems. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon admitted that he saw the project firsthand and was amazed.
Amon claims this is the mobile-PC convergence vision he's been waiting for. Google said it will leverage its AI stack, Gemini, and its massive app ecosystem into the platform. The project is seen as the next step in the previously announced effort to merge Android and Chrome OS.
