Google launches new super noise-canceling headphones

Google has just launched the Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones with a strong upgrade in noise cancellation and superior sound quality compared to the previous version.

In addition to the Pixel 9 smartphone series, Google also launched the Pixel Buds Pro 2 headset model. This is the successor version of Pixel Buds Pro launched in 2022, with many significant improvements.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are powered by Google's own Tensor A1 chip, which delivers "powerful performance" and doubles the noise cancellation of the first-generation Pixel Buds Pro in the mid-frequency range (400Hz-2kHz). Not only that, the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature also automatically adjusts to the surrounding environment at a frequency of three million times per second.

Google's new generation of earbuds promises all-day comfort, thanks to 45 million data points from different ear arches. The earbuds have 11mm drivers and support spatial audio with head tracking. Users can also use the Gemini AI via the Gemini mobile app.

Google says the Pixel Buds Pro 2 use directional microphones, built-in windscreens, and the company's AI technology to make calls clearer. The new headphones also support Google's new Find My Device network.

The Pixel Buds app will bring EQ customization, support for software updates for the headphones. In terms of battery life, Google promises up to 8 hours of listening time with ANC on (12 hours with ANC off) and up to 30 hours for the charging case with ANC on (48 hours with ANC off). The charging case also supports wireless charging.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones will have 4 color options including: Porcelain, Hazel, Wintergreen and Peony with a price of 229 USD (equivalent to 5.7 million VND). The product will start shipping on September 26.
